Roberta S. Wilson Honored for 45 Years of Excellence in Nursing Education
An expert in wound and burn care, Ms. Wilson parlays her knowledge to teach critical skills to emerging nurses

BARTLETT, TN, May 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roberta S. Wilson, Learning Enhancement Coordinator at Southwest Tennessee Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing education.

With a professional tenure that spans 45 years, Ms. Wilson attributes her success to never saying no. She has spent the past two years coordinating learning enhancement programs at Southwest Tennessee Community College, where she is also proud to teach critical skills to emerging nurses at all different levels of education. An expert in wound and burn care, she is ever determined to read and learn new information to use to her advantage. She earned a wound care certification, in addition to a Master of Science in management, with a concentration in nursing, from Southern Nazarene University.

In addition to being named the Nurse of the Year at Le Bonheur Children's hospital in 2003, Ms. Wilson was awarded a Methodist Star. She has also earned the titles of Best Beef Clubber and No. 1 in Showmanship for Beef Cattle by the 4-H Beef Club. Looking forward, she intends to publish more work to pass on her knowledge to as many nurses that she can.
