Peter Kenny Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community
Peter Kenny has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable professional career.
HONG KONG, CHINA, May 22, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Peter Kenny has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable professional career. As CEO of the Reach Education Organization, as well as throughout his brilliant career, Mr. Kenny has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
The Reach Education Organization has been formed to enable great national and independent schools to internationalize their programs and curriculum as well as expand their horizons and "footprint" in establishing an international campus and global presence. They can advise, inspire and enable their clients' school communities to develop their student programs, grow their international audience and allow their unique educational experience to be offered to students internationally.
The organization's vision is to guide, empower and advise governments, educators, boards and institutions to see and fulfill their potential. The mission of the Reach Education Organization is to be an internationally minded, teaching, learning and school development and service organization.
Mr. Kenny is responsible for managing all major aspects of the organization as well as overseeing the daily operations. He has a substantial background in education and teaching, most recently serving as Head of Renaissance College, Hong Kong's largest IB World School. In that position, Peter was engaged in constructing, planning, and designing the facility; developing curriculum; recruiting over 200 staff; establishing policies and procedures; and admitting over 1800 students from around the world to the College.
Peter is also a former aircraft technician for the Royal Australian Air Force and professional football player. During his collegiate career, he earned a Master's degree in Education from Australian Catholic University. Mr. Kenny has served on the Global IB Heads' Council and founded SHARE Projects, a charity dedicated to teacher training in developing nations.
