Ginger Hall Underwood Included in Distinguished Registry
Ginger Underwood is the co-author of "A Little Travel Guide for High Maintenance Women"
Denver, CO, May 6, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ginger Underwood has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in community service.
Following a successful career as a teacher, Ms. Underwood decided to give back to her community. With more than 30 years of volunteer experience on both the local and state levels, she is interested in the formation of laws to present in the state legislature. Over the years, her efforts have resulted in the passing of a law that made infant car seats mandatory, as well as one that raised awareness of prescription drug abuse.
Ms. Underwood has served as both the county and state president of the Colorado Medical Association Alliance. She has also served as President of the Denver Ballet Guild and as the Ball Chair for this group. Recognition has been received for her service to the Jefferson County Children's Alliance as a Board Member. During college at Oklahoma City University, she was a sorority member of Gamma Phi Beta and served as Chapter President and Panhellenic Council President. Now she is a member of the Denver Alumnae Chapter. The recipient of a Master's Degree in English literature, she became a published author in 2007 with the book, "A Little Travel Guide for High Maintenance Women."
