As a Desk Assistant with Florida International University, Silk has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Florida International University is one of the 25 largest universities in the nation with an enrollment of over 44,000 students. Their schools offer more than 200 Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs in fields such as engineering, international relations and law. Florida International University has been locally and globally engaged for more than four decades finding solutions to the most challenging problems of our time.
Silk is responsible for signing all equipment, customer service and providing academic advisement. She is currently in the process of earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication. Silk is a Member of Sigma Alpha Lambda and she has done some local public speaking while she was a Resident Assistant. She was also the recipient of Florida International University's 1st Student Employee of the Year Award.
