Stanford Who's Who welcomes Gary R. Wishmeyer to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the Education Industry.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, February 13, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Gary R. Wishmeyer to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As Supervisor of Music Education Student Teachers at Indiana University Bloomington, as well as throughout his incredible 40 year career, Gary has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.

Mr. Wishmeyer is responsible for teaching as well as observing and mentoring student teachers. He writes narratives of their work, informs them on what areas they need to improve in and assists them on job searches. Gary serves as Band Director and as a Judge for music competitions. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer.

During his collegiate career, Gary earned a Master's degree in Music Education from North Missouri State in 1967 and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 1963. He serves as Education Director for the Indiana Music Education Association. Mr. Wishmeyer also served on the Indiana Board of Education. Gary has been inducted into the Indiana Band Master Hall of Fame. In addition, he writes quarterly articles for Indiana Musicator magazine.
