SUNY Ulster Holds Spring Open House on April 30
Attendees will get an overview of campus life through presentations, tours, information sessions and workshops as well as participate in fun activities and games at this free one-stop-shop event, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

STONE RIDGE, NY, April 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Spring Open House kicks off with Event Registration and Continental Breakfast at 10 a.m. at the Vanderlyn Hall Theater entrance. College President Dr. Donald C. Katt and Ann Marrott, Vice President and Dean of Enrollment, will make opening remarks at 10:30 in Quimby Theater. Attendees also will enjoy a fun and interactive information session, including Q&A with current students and a round of "College Jeopardy" to get prospective students thinking about their college experience. Chances to win door prizes and SUNY Ulster gear also will be available.
An Information Fair will be presented from 11:30 to 2 p.m. and campus tours will run from 11:45 to 1:45 p.m. with Spanish-speaking tours available. Information sessions on early admissions, financial aid, military service member opportunities and Adult Admissions also will be presented.

SUNY Ulster will showcase several popular programs that provide students with real-world professional experience that can help provide a competitive edge when transferring or entering the job market, including Graphic Design, Veterinary Technology and Study Abroad opportunities.

Attendees can also see the SUNY Ulster Senators take on Westchester Community College at a baseball double header starting at noon. The Campus Bookstore will be open throughout the event.
