Marilyn Myers Koppelman Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Marilyn Myers Koppelman is an educator for the fifth largest school district in the nation
North Las Vegas, NV, September 2, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marilyn Myers Koppelman, a teacher for the Clark County School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in early childhood education.
As a teacher for the Clark County School District, Marilyn Myers Koppelman is responsible for innovative teaching of fifth grade students, and chairing the fifth grade Student Council. She also collaborates with administration, parents and peers regarding behavior management and academic excellence.
Her experience includes teaching at the collegiate level, as well as primary and elementary levels. Her expertise includes developing a college information-based Guidance Center for high school students, a Learning Lab for elementary school students, and a State Certified before/after school program, all in the state of Tennessee.
Marilyn became involved in her profession because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people and inspire them to live up to their full potential. She attributes her success to a strong desire and love of helping students, not only academically, but also as it pertains to fitness and health.
Ms. Koppelman received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Tennessee State University in 2000. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from LaSalle University.
In 2004, Ms. Koppelman won the Outstanding Teacher Award from Middle Tennessee State University, Department of Human Sciences.
She is a member of the Association of American Educators, Nevada Education Association, National Society for Experiential Education, and the Professional Women's Alliance.
