Lawrence Lewis, an AV Rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, established his practice 15 years after graduating with a JD from Cornell University Law School. A member of the State Bar of Georgia, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Gwinnett County Bar Association, and Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, his practice areas include Criminal Law, Trial Practice, Appellate Practice and Civil Litigation. Over the course of his career, Mr. Lewis has litigated murder, armed robbery, drug trafficking and aggravated child molestation cases. He was admitted to U.S. District Court in 2002, the Northern District, Georgia in 1998 and Pennsylvania in 1995. He is a former member of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office (1995-1998) and the Fulton County District Attorney's Office (1998-2000). Mr. Lewis also served as a Second Lieutenant in the New Jersey Army National Guard from 1991-1999 and was a graduate on the Commandant's List from Field Artillery Basic Course in 1992.

Mr. Lewis earned his B.A. in Psychology and his B.B.A. in Marketing from Pace University and then attended New York University, where he graduated with an M.A. in Philosophy in 1993. He served as a Regional Representative of the Black Law Students Association from 1993-1995. Attributing his success to his work ethic, Mr. Lewis hopes to phase out the trial aspect of his work within the next five years and focus more on writing, lecturing and teaching. Outside of work, Mr. Lewis enjoys serving as the coach of Grayson High School's Mock Trial Team.
