The City College of Chicago Vice Presidency allows Ms. Martin to share her many attributes of success. Her mother instilled in her a tremendous passion and determination to educate people. Her responsibilities include developing academic programs, assisting with the support of Continuing Education, managing the fiscal budget, report writing, and supporting the College's athletic program.

Ms. Martin holds a child-development credential, as well as a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in project development. Ms. Martin holds two Masters degrees, a Bachelor degree, is a member of Kappa Delta Psi International Education Honor Society, and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. As an author and professional speaker, Martin additionally tours promoting balanced living with her book 'Fulfilled! The Art and Joy of Balanced Living.'
