Shaghayegh Azadi-Setayesh Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Shaghayegh Azadi-Setayesh is the recipient of a master of science in pure mathematics
BROWNSVILLE, TX, July 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shaghayegh Azadi-Setayesh, Lecturer at The University of Texas at Brownsville, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
Prompted to enter her profession by her interest in teaching, Ms. Azadi-Setayesh has two years of experience as a lecturer. At The University of Texas at Brownsville, she is responsible for instructing students in algebra, pre-calculus and calculus. Ms. Azadi-Setayesh also acts as an advisor for the school's Scorpion Society. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her husband, colleagues and family.
In 2008, Ms. Azadi-Setayesh received a Master of Science in Pure Mathematics from The University of Texas at Brownsville. A member of the board of directors of the Cameron County Children's Advocacy Center, she advises the Math Honor Club at UTB in her free time. In the future, Ms. Azadi-Setayesh intends to pursue a Ph.D. and experience growth in the field of education.
