Cindy Sytsma, Ph.D. to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
In 2008, Dr. Cindy Sytsma received the Presidential Award
POWAY, CA, June 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Cindy Sytsma, Assistant Professor at National University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
Dr. Sytsma has six years of overall professional experience. As an assistant professor at National University, she is responsible for teaching courses on special education and juvenile justice, developing course content, supervising a team of developers, students, teachers and interns, and mentoring adjunct instructors. She previously worked as an instructional guide in a high school and in the field of law enforcement.
In 2009, Dr. Sytsma earned her Ph.D. in Human Services, with a concentration in Criminal Justice, from Walden University. She earned her Master of Education from California State University at San Marcos, and her Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from California State University at Fresno.
A member of the National Education Association, Dr. Sytsma is affiliated with the American Society of Criminology, the American Council on Rural Special Education, the Restorative Justice Mediation Program, and the Teachers Educational Council for Exceptional Children. She received the Presidential Award in 2008.
