Kelly A. Leitzel Honored for Accomplishments in Music Education
Kelly A. Leitzel has been a music teacher at her school district since 1985
GREENCASTLE, PA, November 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Kelly A. Leitzel, Instrumental and Classroom Music Teacher for the Waynesboro Area School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in music education.
Ms. Leitzel has been teaching at the Waynesboro Area School District since 1985. Today, she is primarily concerned with conducting music lessons and band rehearsals. However, over the years, she has taught music classes for kindergarten through ninth-grade students, as well as conducted choruses for the fifth through eighth grades. She lends her professional success to her education.
In 1983, Ms. Leitzel received a bachelor's degree in music education from Susquehanna University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association and a former member of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, The National Association for Music Education, The Organization of American Kodály Educators and Education from Shenandoah University, the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association and the Kodály Educators of Eastern Pennsylvania. Her goal is to earn a master's degree.
