Cynthia Kay Sherrod Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, November 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cynthia K. Sherrod, Adjunct Professor for traditional and online universities, and Consultant and CEO at CJ Valley Consulting, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in organizational management and consulting.
At Southern Nazarene University, Ms. Sherrod serves as the project director and a teacher of Applied Research and Data Analysis. As project director, she helps local university students in adult study programs design and construct their theses, and devises and implements strategic plans for project proposals and presentations. She also serves as an adjunct professor for several other colleges.
Having been involved in business and individual coaching for 15 years, she is the CEO of CJ Valley Consulting. Ms. Cynthia Sherrod has spent the last three years as an entrepreneurial consultant. She encourages business executive transformation and offers global executive personal coaching services. Additionally, she consults on companies' strategic analyses and instructs executives in this area. The motto of her consultancy is: "Working to help you get ahead in life."
A military veteran and graduate of Southern Nazarene University, Ms. Sherrod holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and a Master of Science in Management. She is pursuing a Ph.D. through Capella University and hopes to graduate by March of 2011. Thus far, she has reached dissertation milestone four, and her thesis will focus on some contributing factors that affect job satisfaction in an owner-operated assisted living facility. With many older people approaching retirement, she believes that this is an important topic to discuss.
In the future, Ms. Sherrod aims to experience professional growth and become successful in helping others achieve their goals; she also hopes to publish academic papers. Soon, she will begin teaching mathematics classes in accounting, algebra and management classes in a graduate program.
