Jane P. KenKnight Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Ms KenKnight has a passion for teaching and a desire to help others with language needs
SAINT CLOUD, MN, October 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jane P. KenKnight, Volunteer for Talahi Elementary School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in Midwestern English and communication.
With seven years of experience as a volunteer, partly in Tucson and at Talahi Elementary School, Jane P. KenKnight is responsible for working in a sixth grade math class and in the school library. She also works at the History Education Center and teaches English to college-level students. She also enjoys volunteering in Asian and African-American communities, and assisting individuals with citizenship applications and basic mathematics issues. Ms. KenKnight has been to Tanzania and Niamey to teach history, geography and conversational English. Ms. KenKnight was a foster mother to four teens for 10 years in Minnesota and Arizona. In 1976, she was named High School Teacher of the Year, Arizona. She became involved in her profession because of her passion for teaching and her desire to help others with language needs. She attributes her success to her desire to help others.
Ms. KenKnight received her Master's Degree in Special Education from The University of Arizona. She is a certified Laubach Tutor, and Tutor Trainer and holds certification in English as a Second Language.
