Ellen J. Mintz-Kalafer Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
This past year, Ellen J. Mintz-Kalafer started a clinic focusing on students with dyslexia

LANGHORNE, PA, October 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ellen J. Mintz-Kalafer, Educator at Dyslexia/Learning Skills Clinic, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in special education.

With 22 years of professional experience, Ms. Mintz-Kalafer attributes her success to the inspiration she received from her teachers in high school and college. Her responsibilities at Dyslexia/Learning Skills Clinic include teaching reading and writing to dyslexic and learning disabled students. She focuses mainly on high school students. Prior to her current position, she wrote for local newspapers in Pennsylvania and taught college courses.

Ms. Mintz-Kalafer received a master's degree in literacy in 2009 from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master's degree in English in 1988 from Beaver College. In 1970, she received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hofstra University. She holds certifications in secondary English and Reading, and is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English and the International Dyslexia Association.
