Dr. Megan Mericle specializes in forensic and correctional psychology

STOW, OH, October 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Megan Mericle, Adjunct Psychology Professor at Lorain County Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in psychology.

With five years of professional experience, Dr. Mericle attributes her success to the support she receives from her family. As a Postdoctoral Resident and Adjunct Psychology Professor, she is responsible for teaching courses in psychology and conducting psychological assessments and group and individual therapy sessions. She specializes in forensic and correctional psychology, and has previously worked in such settings as correctional institutions, forensic outpatient settings, partial hospitalization programs, forensic hospitals, and generalized outpatient settings which serviced a diverse population.

Dr. Mericle is a member of the American Psychological Association. In 2010, she received a doctorate in clinical psychology, with an emphasis in forensic psychology, from Argosy University. She received Masters Degrees in both criminal justice and in clinical psychology.
