Deborah Leighty Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Deborah Leighty celebrates six years as a clinical instructor for Hillsborough Community College
TAMPA, FL, October 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Deborah Leighty, Clinical Coordinator for Hillsborough Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education and radiography.
With six years of experience as a clinical coordinator for Hillsborough Community College, Deborah Leighty is responsible for instructing students and preparing them to become certified in radiography. Ms. Leighty has been a radiographer for 23 years and has received tenure at Hillsborough Community College. She became involved in her profession through her desire for a flexible long-term career. She attributes her success to the support she received from her parents.
Ms. Leighty received a Master of Education from National-Louis University in 2003. In addition to her formal education, she is certified in radiography and bone densitometry. She is a member of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and she is on the Board of Directors of the Association of Education in Imaging and Radiologic Science, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the Florida Society of Radologic Technologists.
